Founded in 1961, Camp Challenge is Florida’s only Easter Seals Camp and is designed especially for children and adults with cognitive or physical disabilities. After a four-year capital campaign, Easter Seals Florida completed their Dining Hall renovation, the heart of all camp activities. YAWN design studio, inc. was honored to provide pro bono assistance with the interior renovation.

Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for more than 80 years. Whether helping someone improve physical mobility, return to work or simply gain greater independence for everyday living, Easter Seals offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life’s challenges and achieve personal goals.

Central Florida Programs –

Easter Seals Camp Challenge – The facility provides summer camp programs for children and adults with cognitive or physical disabilities that are an integral part of campers’ pursuit of independence.

Easter Seals Day Break at The Miller Center, Winter Park & Easter Seals at Altrusa House, Gainesville – Adult Day Services programs.

Easter Seals Lifeline – An easy-to-use personal alert service that ensures older adults living at home get quick assistance whenever needed.
